Lynbrook to host contested village election on March 16

Three candidates will vie for two trustee seats and two others will vie for village justice in the Lynbrook village election on March 16.

Incumbent candidate and current Deputy Mayor Michael Hawxhurst will look to retain his seat, while challenger Laura Ryder will run alongside Hawxhurst on the New Vision Party line, and David O’Neill will also challenge for trustee. Trustee Hilary Becker will not seek re-election to the board.

Incumbent Village Justice William McLaughlin will be challenged by Josh Marguiles.
