The Mothers of Malverne gathered members and former presidents from the past 40 years to honor them at a special dinner on May 3. Members of the group got to celebrate at the Stewart Manor Country Club in Garden City. Mothers enjoyed food, raffled prizes and shared many laughs with each other. Current and former presidents also got to speak about MOMs, and the group’s growth over the last four decades.
Since the group’s first meeting in 1978, where 17 mothers gathered, more than 300 mothers have taken part in the group’s activities. For more information on MOMs, visit their website at momsofmalverne.wordpress.com.
