Police are searching for two men who allegedly assaulted and robbed a man at the Doxy Brook fising area in North Woodmere on June 27.

Nassau County police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a man in North Woodmere on June 27.

A man, 30, was walking by the Doxy Brook fishing area on Branch Boulevard at 10: 25 p.m., police said, when the two men approached him and allegedly punched him in the face and grabbed money from his pocket. The men then took off, police said. The man was taken to a local hospital.

Police are asking anyone with information on this incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-8477. All calls are confidential.
