Police search for man who fired a shot in Elmont

Nassau County police are searching for two suspects involved in a shooting on Sept. 6.

According to detectives, there was a disturbance between a few individuals leaving a house party near the intersection of Leighton Road and Keswick Road at around 2:15 a.m., and when one of the individuals, Suspect Two, tried to leave the area in a black or gray colored Jeep with Florida plates driven by Suspect One, Suspect One exited the vehicle holding a black and silver revolver at his side. Both suspects then entered the vehicle, and while heading south on Keswick Road towards Dutch Broadway, Suspect One fired one shot out of the driver’s side window. There were no injuries or damages reported.

Suspect One is described as a black male with a light complexion, who is between 35 to 40 years old, six-feet-two-inches and 180 pounds, with dreadlocks. He was wearing a white colored t-shirt at the time of the incident.

Suspect Two, meanwhile, is described as a black male, between 37 and 40 years old, who was wearing an orange striped shirt at the time of the incident.
