Rockville Centre schools to be closed Friday due to anticipated snowstorm

With snow in the forecast, Rockville Centre school officials announced Thursday that the district's buildings will be closed on Friday. 

In a note on the school's website, officials wrote that activities would also be canceled. 

"Be safe, responsible and healthy while enjoying the wintery day," the note read.
