Police seek suspect in Seaford bank robbery

A Rosyln Savings Bank inside a Seaford Stop & Shop was robbed on Feb. 8, according to Nassau County police officials.

According to detectives, an unknown white male in his 30s approached one of the three bank tellers on duty at the Stop & Shop, located at 4055 Merrick Road in Seaford, and passed a demand note for money.

The teller complied, and the subject fled with an undisclosed about of cash. There were no customers in the bank when the robbery took place, nor injuries reported at the scene, police said.

The subject was wearing a maroon sweatshirt, a dark jacket and sunglasses during the robbery, officials said.
