Two wanted for stolen Honda in Uniondale

Nassau police are looking for a man and a woman who allegedly stole a gray 2008 Honda Element on Uniondale Avenue near Waverly Place in Uniondale at 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 6.

A man, 48, left the vehicle parked and the engine running with the keys inside, according to police. When he returned a short time later it was gone.

The subsequent investigation found that two people got into the Honda and drove south on Uniondale Avenue.

The man is described as black, in his late teens to early 20s, roughly 5-9, wearing a black hat, blue Adidas jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.

The woman is thought to also be in her late teens to early 20s, around 5-6, with long black hair, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and brown sneakers.
