Armed robbers target Valero gas station in North Valley Stream

Two men, one of whom had a gun, robbed the Valero gas station in North Valley Stream this morning at 1:38 a.m., police report.

According to Nassau County police, the manager of the Valero gas station, at 758 Franklin Ave., when two men approached him and one shoved what appeared to be a gun into his back. The men then directed the manager back into the store and instructed him to lie on the floor. They said that if he did not comply, he would be shot. The victim complied and the suspects took an unknown amount of cash from the register and fled south on Franklin Avenue. No injuries were reported.

The suspects are described as a black male, who is approximately 6-foot-3-inches tall, and a Hispanic male, who is approximately 5-foot-8-inches tall. They were wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves.
