Catherine Miserandino

Catherine Healy Miserandino, born in Brooklyn, died on Feb. 20, after a month-long battle with pneumonia. She was 86.

Catherine, also known as Kitty, was a 40-plus year resident of Valley Stream, and in recent years resided at Dominican Village, Amityville.

Survivors include her husband Dominick; son Anthony and wife Barbara; son Jerry and wife Karen; son Donald and wife Janet; daughter Cathie and husband Norman; daughter Marianne and husband Dimitrios; grandchildren, Costine, Gerard, Dominick, Dominique, Matthew, Christine, Christina and April; and great-grand children Olivea, Carsyn, Caterina, Kerrigan, and Olivia.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Malverne where she was an active member of the Rosary Altar Society.
