Teenagers in grades 6 - 12 can make a Mod Podge jar with fall designs at the Henry Waldinger Memorial Library on Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. Registration is required.

‘Confessions of a Floor Walker’ release

Valley Streamer Rossy Qureshi will be debuting her book, “Confessions of a Floor Walker,” at a book launch party on Nov. 18 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Sip This. The book is about Eliza Raine Fox, who moves to Brisbane, Australia to start a new life as an undercover Loss Prevention Officer for a big box retailer.

Make and donate pumpkin bread

Teenagers in grades 7 through 12 can make pumpkin bread to donate to local shelters at the Elmont Memorial Library on Nov. 20 at 4 p.m.
