Police arrested a Valley Stream man on Saturday night for reportedly filming without her consent a woman while she showered.

Fifth Precinct detectives said they had arrested Paul Cotugno, 31, after they said he had entered the backyard of a 25-year-old female neighbor at around 10:12 p.m., and used a chair to look into her bathroom window, and record her showering without her knowledge.

The woman them reportedly screamed, and Cotugno tried to flee on foot. Police said they found him a short time later and placed him under arrest.

He was charged on Sunday at the First District Court in Hempstead with second-degree surveillance and two counts of third-degree criminal trespassing.
