A new star at the piano was 7-year-old Kristian Fajardo, who is being taught classical piano by Lehrman.
Kristian will perform at Hofstra University in the weeks ahead too!

Soprano Helene Williams and composer, conductor and pianist Leonard Lehrman of Court Street Music in Valley Stream hosted their annual House Concert and Student Recital June 4. The pair has been nurturing the talents of musicians young and old, including NYSSMA coaching and long-term study, since 1999.
The concert featured a piano trio, music for voice and piano, and piano solo — including a piece Lehrman wrote for one of his students based on the letters of his name.
