Chestnut Street elementary school celebrates Read Across America

Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos recently visited Mrs. Lia Angelo's class at the Chestnut Street Elementary School in West Hempstead to read the classic Dr. Seuss book "Oh the Places You’ll Go!" in celebration of Read Across America day.
Students wearing handmade "Cat in the Hat" paper hats looked on as Maragos expressed his excitement to have the opportunity to participate in the event.
