From the parade that began at Andrew J. Parise Cedarhurst Park and ended at Lawrence High School, also in Cedarhurst, to the winning football game, Homecoming 2019 was full of fun on Oct. 19.

Antique cars, the cheerleaders, fire trucks, school banners and the marching band, along with many others, took park in the pre-game procession. And though a down year for the Golden Tornadoes varsity, the football players did their part and came away victorious with a 27-22 triumph over Division High.

Junior Aquan Walker rushed 12 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he had a pair of interceptions, one of which was a 97-yard pick-6. Senior Eric Hwang had eight caries for 20 yards and a TD. Mikell Henry had three receptions for 37 yards.

Hugo Retana made seven tackles, and Josiah Reed had four tackles and three sacks.
