North-Bellmore-North Merrick Rebels win District 31 crown

The North Bellmore-North Merrick 10u Rebels B team recently completed its summer season by winning a District 31 interleague tournament championship 10-0. The team compiled an overall record of 11 wins, one tie and one loss. At left were, front row, from left, Christian Roes and Cedric Nahas; middle row, Anthony Barnao, Chris Laurelli, Benjamin Berkowitz, Dillon Pekoff and Jon Dijstra; and back row, coach Marc Berkowitz, Eli Koukoulis, Chris Folise, Connor Molloy, Jack Bloniarz, Chris Lulic and coach Chris Pekoff.
