Shots fired on Olympia Road in North Bellmore

Police are investigating reports of gunfire near Olympia Road in North Bellmore.

Detectives said the incident occurred on Wednesday, June 5, at 11:52 p.m. First Precinct officers responded.

Investigators said that a Hispanic male was involved in the incident, though they did not know how. They also did not have a full description of him. The man was reportedly riding a 2006 Suzuki Colt motorcycle, which he left behind at the scene. He drove off in a black car.

Police recovered a Ford Explorer parked on the street with bullet holes in the wheel wells. No injuries were reported.
