The Great White Way comes to Eisenhower Park in the form of Neil Berg’s “100 Years of Broadway.” The nostalgia-filled musical revue features many of the great Broadway showstoppers performed by a cast of Broadway actors and actresses. Hear standards by composers such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Frank Loesser. Neil Berg hosts, on piano, and gives commentary and historical tidbits in between songs.

Al Jolson Festival
Fans of the World’s Greatest Entertainer, as he was known, can enjoy Jolson’s music and memories when the Al Jolson Festival returns for its annual celebration of the entertainer and his life. Tony Babino brings the Jolson songs alive with his award-winning show, “The Heart of Al Jolson.” Jolson authorities
Ed Greenbaum and Joe Ciolino premiere a new DVD chronicling Jolson’s career from 1910-1950; other guests include Eddie Cantor’s grandson Brian Gari, with a multi-media presentation about Cantor, created for this event.

The All Night Strut
Swing’s the thing in this international hit, when Lynbrook-based Plaza Theatrical Productions presents this musical celebration of the 1930s and ‘40s. The show struts its stuff in a two-act bonanza of the way things were during the Depression, World War II and the post-war boom. Musical numbers include “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “It Don’t Mean A Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing and “I’ll Be Seeing You.”
