The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District honored its All-State musicians during Wednesday’s Board of Education meeting. All-State honorees receive top marks in Level VI of the New York State School Music Association’s annual solo competition. More than 2,400 students throughout the state annually compete for All-State distinction. This year’s Central honorees are, in alphabetical order, Benjamin Dickstein, Joshua Golub, Neil Miller and Robert Rosen, all of Calhoun High School, and Dana Shapiro of Kennedy High School.
