It’s official –– summer’s over and students in the Bellmores are back in school once again. The Bellmore, North Bellmore, and Central High School districts opened their doors on a rainy morning on Tuesday.
At Park Avenue Elementary School in North Merrick, which is in the North Bellmore district, students piled off buses and out of their parents’ cars, eager to start the school year. The Herald was on hand to catch students of all ages start the new school year — backpacks in hand and ready to go.
