Cancer Society gears up for Bellmore-Merrick Relay for Life

The American Cancer Society’s 2012 Bellmore-Merrick Relay for Life will take place on Saturday, May 19, at 5 p.m. at Merrick Road Park in Merrick. At its core, the event is a walk-a-thon fundraiser that supports the American Cancer’s Society’s research, education and advocacy efforts.
Thus far, 142 participants have raised $33,500 for the Bellmore-Merrick Relay for Life.
