The Bellmore Fire Department extinguished a car fire last Wednesday after a red Dodge Caravan minivan broke out in flames while it was parked along the curb on Clinton Street in Bellmore.
The vehicle was impounded, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, according to a Bellmore Fire Department spokesman.
