Catholic Honor Band Plays 35th Annual Concert

The 35th annual Catholic School Honor Band concert recently brought together many of Long Island’s best student musicians at St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, including four from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Regional Elementary School in Bellmore.

The students include David Chea, Michael Henn, Michael McGoldrick and Ava Wright. St. Elizabeth takes in students from a wide swath of the South Shore, including St. Barnabas Parish in Bellmore, Curé of Ars Parish in Merrick, Sacred Heart Parish in North Merrick, Our Holy Redeemer Parish in Freeport, St. Raphael Parish in East Meadow and St. Frances de Chantal Parish in Wantagh.

More than 600 students from 46 schools played to two packed houses of parents, family members and friends. The performances were presented by Paul Effman Music Service.
