Locals showcase talents at Bellmore craft fair

Temperatures are dropping and the leaves are changing colors. That can only mean one thing –– the holiday season is just around the corner. Though Thanksgiving is still over a month away, it’s never too early to shop or hit up the local craft fairs.
The Bellmore Senior Center recently held its first craft fair of the season. The event drew a crowd while showcasing vendors from throughout the area. Many sold hand-made items like jewelry, ornaments and birdhouses. Also up for grabs were homemade snacks as well as antiques.
