Mepham student honored for chemistry achievement

The American Chemical Society honored Anand Bradley, a Mepham High School junior, for “Outstanding Scholastic Achievement in High School Chemistry.” Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District officials said the organization has honored exemplary high school chemistry students from each high school in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties for the past 25 years. Anand was recognized at a ceremony and honorary dinner at Nassau Community College on May 15.
