N. Bellmore She Devils softball wins Triple Crown Tournament

The under-14 North Bellmore She Devils won the Triple Crown Father’s Day Softball Tournament in Medford, N.Y., beating out 11 other teams from across Long Island.
The She Devils won their first two games on Saturday, securing the No. 2 seed going into the single-elimination playoffs on Sunday. In the playoffs, the She Devils beat the Frozen Ropes Ice 5-2. In the semi-final game, the She Devils defeated the L.I. Chill 3-2. And in the championship game, the She Devils faced the No. 1-seeded Silver Bullets. The She Devils did not allow a hit and won the game 7-0 to take the championship.
