Police: Woman stole pocketbook at Merrick business

Police are looking for a woman who stole a pocketbook containing credit cards and money at the Merrick Mall in December.

According to Nassau County police, on Dec. 21, 2017, a woman entered a “rear room” at a business at 2150 Merrick Mall, and took someone’s pocketbook. Inside were credit cards, personal papers and an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect fled in a white Nissan Altima, police said.
