Seal Cruises
Get a close-up look at Long Island’s seal population, on a seal cruise offered by the Riverhead Foundation. Sail from Freeport aboard the Captain Lou Fleet to view winter harbor seals throughout Hempstead Bay. A naturalist is on board to discuss biology and seal behavior and other marine life encountered.

Night Of January 16th
Ayn Rand’s acclaimed but rarely performed play, the stirring courtroom drama in which the audience is involved as part of the jury, opens this weekend at Hofstra. The story involves the murder of Bjorn Faulkner, who appears to be a successful international tycoon and head of a vast financial empire. His mistress, Karen Andre, is on trial for his murder. There is no conclusion; a jury selected from the audience during the performance decides the verdict. The cast includes members of the legal profession, including the Honorable Dana Winslow, Supreme Court Judge, Nassau County.

Adam & Anthony Live
Fans of the Broadway hit “Rent” can see two of the show’s original stars, Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal, when they bring their new act to Landmark Theater this weekend. The pair, who became good friends after co-starring in the musical’s original Broadway and London productions, as well as in the film version and the most recent touring version, share stories and music from the show, along with selections from other musical theater classics, as well as some pop, rock and original songs.
