5K Run/Walk to end hunger

Put on your running or walking shoes and head out to Wantagh Park for the 8 a.m. registration before the 9 a.m. “Ellen Gordon CPAs 4(a): Cause” walk and run on Saturday, June 18. Proceeds from the run/walk will benefit Island Harvest, the largest hunger relief organization on Long Island.

There will be music, post-race food and refreshments, and trophies will be presented to the top 3 overall male, top 3 overall female and the top 3 finishers in each age category. There will be ribbons for all children under 14. There will also be area restaurant and other gift certificates.

Registration by June 12 is $20 and on the day of the race, June 18, it’s $25.
