Merrick Avenue 7-11 burglarized

7-11, on Merrick Avenue at the intersection of Front Street, was robbed on Jan. 7, according to Nassau County police.

Police say two black men, dressed in dark clothing and masks, entered the store at about 1:40 a.m., while a third black man remained outside.

One of the men allegedly took out a handgun and jumped over the counter, while the other removed cash from the register. The two men also removed the cashier’s wallet and cell phone.

The three men fled on foot eastbound on Front Street, police say. No injuries were reported.
