Assemblyman McKevitt to host 'Women of Distinction' event

Assemblyman Tom McKevitt (R,C,I-East Meadow) will be hosting his fourth annual “Women of Distinction” ceremony to honor outstanding women from the 17th Assembly District.
    
“This ceremony is an opportunity to tell these women that their tireless work and unwavering commitment to family, friends and neighbors has not gone unnoticed,”  McKevitt said.
   
Deserving women can be nominated in the fields of business, community and civic affairs, education, government, health services, volunteer, humanitarian and veteran and military services. “This prestigious award gives our community the opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of all the extraordinary women who make our community a better place to live,” McKevitt said.
