Two students at W.T. Clarke High were named finalists in Senator Kemp Hannon’s “Best in Town” photo contest. Jackie Rosenking is a finalist in the Nature category while Amanda Astudillo was named a finalist in the Animals category.
In an effort to recognize outstanding photogenic efforts of high schoolers in his district, this year’s annual competition was judged by a panel that included a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer. The images were judged on photogenic quality, creativity and success in conveying the “Best in Town” or unique character of the community.
