It was a night full of laughs inside W.T. Clarke High School’s Little Theater last Friday, as students from the school’s Improv Club performed a comedy sketch show for dozens of audience members.

The program, led by English teacher Mark Kenny for the last 15 years, hosts six shows per year.

Student performers included Paige Aaronson, Riley Walsh, Krystyn “Agent K” Pe Aguirre, Kelly Aaronson, Akira Rose, Nicole Hallett, Jaosn DeLaCruz and Nahziair Azel Conway, with Juliet Rafanelli, Andrew Mavrogeorgis, Julianne Hallett, Joan Johnson and Aashani Shah also lending a hand with props.

The group performed several different sketches that had the audience laughing for nearly two hours.

Kenny said the comedy troupe meets during the week-and-a-half leading up to each show to prepare.

One of the six annual shows is performed by alumni of the comedy club, which occurred in January. The other five shows involve current students.

Th next improv show will be on March 27. Tickets are available at the door.
