The youthful and energizing Japanese taiko drumming group Yamato – The Drummers of Japan returns to Tilles Center with a new show, “Matsuri,” Sunday, Nov. 15, at 7 pm. The ensemble’s thrilling rhythms and theatrics put a new millennium spin on this traditional art form. This production incorporates the spirit of fiesta and all that the word implies – the intimacy and involvement of the audience, and the joys of celebration and carnival.
