A 2004 Acura was stolen from in front of a house on Franklin Avenue on Sept. 10.

Burglary

A home on Meadowoods Drive in East Meadow was burglarized on Sept. 8, police reported. The victim stated to police that he woke up to find the bedroom window open and his wife’s purse on the floor. According to detectives, victims found the den ransacked. Police said another purse in the kitchen, containing credit cards, a wallet, a check book and a cell phone, was taken.
