Culinary Delights is Sept. 28

Culinary Delights, an annual food tasting fundraiser and networking event hosted by the East Meadow of Chamber of Commerce that aims to highlight local businesses, will take place for the 13th consecutive year on Monday, Sept. 28.

Every year, the event donates its proceeds to local charities. This year’s beneficiaries will be America’s Vet Dogs (Veteran’s K-9 Corps); the National Ataxia Foundation; the East Meadow Parent Teacher Association Council Scholarship Fund; Kiwanis Club of East Meadow’s Kamp Kiwanis; The Autism Society of America’s Nassau and Suffolk Chapter; and the Nassau University Medical Center Pediatric Department.

The fundraiser will take place at the Carltun on the Park in Eisenhower Park. Dozens of representatives from local restaurants, bakeries and confectioneries will be showcasing their  food specialties, drinks, desserts and more throughout the evening.

Attendees can wine and dine as they wish, traveling from room to room for tastings, or walk along the gardens and listen to music.
