Light Rain Fog/Mist East Meadow schools closed on Wednesday
Library closing at 3 p.m.
Due to today's snowstorm, which is expected to drop up to 10 inches of snow on Nassau County by Wednesday morning, the East Meadow School District has canceled evening activities on Tuesday, and has already canceled school on Wednesday.
The Nassau University Medical Center announced that its last outpatient session appointment at all five Family Health Centers (Westbury, Roosevelt, Hempstead, Elmont and Freeport) will take place at 4 p.m.
All outpatient sessions at all five centers will open tomorrow at noon.
The East Meadow Public Library will close at 3 p.m.
The Town of Hempstead said all parks programs and use of community rooms are canceled today and tomorrow.
The Nassau County Aquatic Center will close at 4 p.m. and have a delayed opening of noon tomorrow.
