Neha Sahni

This year’s valedictorian of the Class of 2011 is Neha Sahni. Neha is an extremely bright, conscientious and dedicated student who is admired and respected as a role model and leader by faculty and peers alike. She is a well-rounded and motivated student. Her dedication to all of her endeavors is evident both in the classroom and the community. Neha is an active member of the World Hunger Action Club, Pre-Med Club and A World of Difference Club. She is the type of student who truly leads by example, and has truly been an integral part of the extra-curricular community at East Meadow High School. Neha is also a varsity tennis player, a writer for the Jet Gazette school newspaper, a member of the school’s Math Team, National Honor Society, Science Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. She was honored as the recipient of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Math and Science Award for her outstanding achievement in the fields of math and science. She was also a recipient of the Humanitarian Award for all of her commitment to improving her school and community. Neha is interested in pursuing a career in medicine after graduating high school. An intuitive, warm and kind young woman with maturity beyond her years, Neha is a true asset to the East Meadow community.
