EMFD responds to accident on Merrick Avenue

East Meadow Fire Department crews rushed to the scene on Thursday at about 2 p.m. for a vehicular accident on Merrick Avenue and Front Street.

Traffic was temporarily backed up on Front Street and Merrick Avenue as rescue crews attended to the victims.

Victims involved in the accident were transported to a local hospital for treatment. There is no further information available at this time.
