Jets fans get yet another weekend to enjoy football.

This time, Gang Green is one win from making the Super Bowl for the first time since January 1969.

However, to get there, the Jets must pull another upset. They travel to Indianapolis to face the top-seeded Colts, led by Peyton Manning, to vie for the AFC Championship and a berth into the Super Bowl in Miami on Feb. 7.

The New York Jets' surprising playoff run began on Jan. 9, as they upset the AFC North Division Champion Cincinnati Bengals on the road, 24-14, during the Wild Card Round. The Jets, led by rookie head coach Rex Ryan and their top-ranked defense, then shocked the heavily favored San Diego Chargers in the Divisional Round last Sunday, 17-14.

The Jets finished an up-and-down regular season with two straight victories to finish 9-7, and sneak into the playoffs with the fifth seed.

A Herald photographer stopped by Potter's Pub in East Meadow during Wild Card Weekend, a spot once known for visits by Jet players when the team was based at Hofstra. We will be around East Meadow again this weekend.

Post your predictions on the comments below. Have a car or home decorated for the Jets? Send us your photos, or post them on the LIHerald.com homepage.

Otherwise, enjoy the game. Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m., and the game can be seen locally on WCBS, Channel 2.
