Man assaulted in Eisenhower Park

A 27-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by unknown attackers in Eisenhower Park, who dropped the injured victim off in Baldwin and fled in the early morning hours of Oct. 22. 

According to detectives, the male victim was transported to an unspecified location in Eisenhower Park at about 3:32 a.m. where one subject opened the back door and slashed him in the face with an unknown sharp object while a second subject held the other door closed to prevent the victim from exiting the vehicle.

The victim was then pulled from the automobile, and punched and kicked several times by the attackers, police said. The attackers dropped the victim to Kingston Avenue in Baldwin and fled in an unknown direction, detectives said. 

The victim was transported to the Nassau University Medical Center where he was treated for multiple lacerations to the face and broken ribs. The investigation is ongoing. 

Both subjects, according to police were described as black males between the ages of 20 and 30 years old.
