Mostly Cloudy Man drowns in East Meadow pool

A 26-year-old man died on Tuesday afternoon after police say he drowned in a swimming pool in the backyard of a home on 1954 School Street in East Meadow.
According to Nassau County Police, the man was found not moving inside of the pool by a second man, age 20, who attempted CPR.
He was transported to the Nassau University Medical Center, where police say he was pronounced dead at 3:15 p.m.
Police have yet to reveal the name of the deceased.
