Man mugged in Salisbury

A man was robbed late Monday night while walking in Salisbury. 

According to Third Squad detectives a 21-year-old man was approached by two male subjects on Salisbury Park Drive at about 11:20 p.m. 

The first subject is described by police as a blank male in his early twenties, about five foot eight with an average build. He was wearing a dark jacket and gray sweatpants at the time of the crime, police said. 

Detectives said the first subject grabbed the victim by the chest, reached into his pocket and removed a Blackberry cell phone. 

Cops said the second subject then demanded the victim’s scarf. He is described by police as a black male in his late twenties, about five foot six, wearing a brown ski jacket and a ski cap. The subjects fled the scene on foot, police said, there were no injuries.
