Man robs Dunkin Donuts at gunpoint for a bottle of water

Police are investigating a robbery that took place East Meadow involving an unidentifiable man who held a Dunkin Donuts cashier at gunpoint and stole a bottle of water.

The perpetrator entered Dunkin Donuts on May 4 around 5 a.m. and took a bottle of water from the refrigerator. He then pointed a black handgun at the 28-year old cashier and fled the scene. He is described as being a medium-built, white male wearing a black hooded jacket and a black scarf covering his mouth.

There were no injuries reported.
