Clarke celebrates Homecoming

Members of the W.T. Clarke school community celebrated Homecoming at the high school on Oct. 3.

Students, parents, alumni, and area residents donned maroon and grey to support the Clarke Rams as they hoped to get on a winning track against Island Trees.
The Varsity cheerleaders, along with the official Ram mascot, helped get the crowd energized for what turned out to be a thrilling game until the final minutes.

During halftime, the high school’s marching band and color guard performed.
Following the procession, the annual parade of floats made its way across the field.

This year’s Homecoming theme of “Superheroes” elicited the creative thoughts of the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior classes. The freshmen portrayed “The Hulk,” the sophomores brought “Spiderman” to life, the juniors created a “Superman” float, and the senior class wowed the crowd with their “Batman” interpretation.

The Rams dominated the majority of the game, but ultimately fell to Island Trees 27-21.
