Robert Seidel dies at 85

Robert Seidel, of East Meadow and formerly of North Merrick, died on September 27. He was 85.

Seidel is predeceased by his daughter Nancy Sheridan and son-in-law Kevin Campbell. 

He is survived by his wife Grace Seidel, daughter Janine Campbell, son-in-law Harold, grandchildren Anthony and his wife Jamie, Laura and her husband Philip, Steven and his wife Ashley and Michael, as well as his seven great-grandchildren.

Seidel was a long time employee and district manager of UPS in Maspeth, NY.

His family received friends on Wednesday at the Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Homes in East Meadow. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held today at 10:15 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church in Massapequa with an interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
