Schools, Aquatic Center closed

Library closing at 1 p.m.

Once again this winter, snow has blanketed East Meadow, making driving conditions hazardous for commuters.

The East Meadow School District closed its schools on Monday. The Nassau County Aquatic Center is also closed, and all county park activities are canceled.

All town of Hempstead Parks and Recreation activities are canceled, and the East Meadow Senior Center is closed.

The East Meadow Public Library will close at 1 p.m., according to a message on its website.
