Still time to register for district budget vote/trustee elections

Voter registration remains open for the East Meadow School District Budget vote/Trustee election on May 18. It is available for voters who have not previously registered but are eligible to vote. It will take place in the office of the district clerk at the Leon J. Campo Salisbury Center from May 4 through May 10, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Evening registration will be held on Thursday, May 6, from 7-9 p.m. Call the district clerk at (516) 478-5738 for information. In order to vote in the annual school district election, a voter must be a U. S. citizen, 18 years or older and a district resident for at least 30 days prior to the vote.
