About 30 congregants from Temple Emanu-El of East Meadow participated in the production of “A Few Good Men” last weekend. Some participants graced the stage portraying dramatic characters, while others were behind the scenes moving props and controlling lights.

The cast rehearsed for more than three months to perfect their stage presence. Producer Elliot Solomon was excited to provide audience member with a peak inside the United States military in Cuba. “Most of us don’t know to much about it,” he said. The play is loosely based on a true-life story that was originally penned by Aaron Sorkin.

Audience members were delighted by the performance and both cast and congregants are looking forward to the temple’s spring musical comedy, “Once Upon a Mattress.”
