Fog/Mist Temple members perform in “Once Upon a Mattress”

Temple Emanu-El of East Meadow congregants will entertain this weekend in their final performances of the well-known story, “Once Upon a Mattress.”
After rehearsing for weeks, the all-ages, 38-member cast will take to the stage in a musical performance based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, “The Princess and the Pea.”
This musical would also not be possible without the 51 crew members dedicated to behind-the-scenes concerns, including director/producer Elliot Solomon.
The last two shows will take place on Saturday, May 5 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 6 at 2 p.m at Temple Emanu-El of East Meadow, 123 Merrick Ave., East Meadow. Tickets are $18 for adults, $14 for seniors and $9 for children under 18 years old. For more information, call the temple at (516) 794-8911.
