The musical that revolutionized modern theater is back for one night only, at Tilles Center, on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 8 p.m. Relive the show that changed modern musical theater, by experiencing the magic and the mystery of CATS.

Based on T.S. Eliot’s "Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats," and with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, CATS won seven 1983 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Lighting, and Best Costumes. The show, which opened on the Great White Way in October 1982, officially became the longest running musical on Broadway on June 19, 1997. It ended its 18-year run on Sept. 10, 2000 with 7,485 performances. That record was broken by The Phantom of the Opera on Jan. 9, 2006 when Phantom celebrated its 7,486th curtain.
